This Privacy Policy explains how Claridex LLC ("Claridex," "we," or "us") handles personal information in connection with the claridex.co website (the "Site") and the purchase and delivery of subscriptions to Claridex Certificate Manager (the "Software"). The Software is self-hosted; during its normal operation it does not transmit your certificates, private keys, keystore contents, or configuration to us.
1. Information we collect
- Order and contact information you provide: your email address and organization name, submitted at checkout.
- Payment information: card and billing details are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
- License records: to issue, deliver, and renew your license we retain your name or organization, email address, plan, server count, and issue and expiry dates.
- Communications: if you contact support, we keep your messages and contact details.
- Technical data: our hosting and email providers process limited technical information, such as IP address and request logs, to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
We use this information to process payments and subscriptions, to issue and deliver license keys, to renew or cancel subscriptions, to provide support, and to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
3. Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing and billing.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — license issuance backend and email delivery.
- Vercel — website hosting.
These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell personal information.
4. Cookies
The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies required for it to function and to be secure. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Data sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Claridex, our customers, or others.
6. Data retention
We retain order and license records for as long as your subscription is active and thereafter as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize them.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International users
We operate in the United States, and information is processed there. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information is processed in the United States.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, contact support@claridex.co. We do not sell personal information.
10. Children
The Site and Software are intended for businesses and are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
